PixOnDeck Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of https://pixondeck.com (the "Site"). These Terms apply to your use of the Services. If you do not agree to them, do not use the Services. Our Privacy Policy separately explains how we process personal information; acceptance of these Terms is not consent to every form of data processing.

PixOnDeck is operated by an individual sole proprietor based in Hong Kong and trading as PixOnDeck. General and legal inquiries: hello@pixondeck.com.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, have legal capacity to accept these Terms, and comply with applicable law.

2. Current Services

PixOnDeck provides a visual-recipe library, browser-based image and video tools, accounts and saved work, hosted image and video generation, and one-time credit packs where enabled. The Chrome extension provides image-to-prompt analysis using PixOnDeck credits or an optional user-configured API endpoint and credentials (BYOK), with saved prompts and handoff to the Site. Optional newsletter subscriptions are separate from access to the Services.

Feature availability and supported inputs depend on the selected tool, model and account settings. Browser-only tools process files locally; hosted generation, extension credit-mode analysis and certain hosted tools send content for processing as described in the Privacy Policy. BYOK endpoint operators apply their own charges and terms. A preview or disabled control does not mean a feature is available. Command-line tooling is not part of the Services.

3. Paid Credits, Billing, and Refunds

This section applies only if the Site expressly makes a paid credit pack available for purchase. A price, preview, waitlist, or disabled checkout control is not an offer to sell paid Services.

PixOnDeck is the seller and merchant for paid credit-pack transactions. Stripe provides payment-processing and hosted-checkout services but is not the seller, merchant of record, or reseller. A purchase is also subject to the PixOnDeck Refund Policy. Refund requests should be submitted to hello@pixondeck.com with the purchaser email address and the Stripe receipt number or payment identifier shown on the receipt. Do not send a full card number, bank password, government identifier, or other sensitive payment credentials.

Paid credit purchases are final and non-refundable unless applicable law requires a remedy or PixOnDeck expressly approves an exception. We do not offer a general money-back guarantee, cash redemption of unused credits, or exchanges between packs. A change of mind, lack of use, or dissatisfaction with the style of an otherwise correctly supplied AI result does not, by itself, qualify for a voluntary refund. This does not exclude rights concerning defective or misdescribed Services.

We may approve an exceptional refund for a specified amount or percentage of the original amount paid. Approval in one case does not create a general entitlement. Mandatory consumer rights, binding payment-network requirements and Stripe dispute outcomes take precedence, including where they require a full refund. See the Refund Policy for how refunds and associated credits are handled.

Paid credits are units for using eligible PixOnDeck features, not a bank balance or an investment. Promotional credits have no cash refund value. The credit charge shown for a new request may vary by model and settings; model availability and future generation prices can change. These changes do not retrospectively change charges for requests already accepted.

Full refunds and chargebacks may cause an automatic reversal of the associated credit pack. Partial refunds, payment disputes and any resulting credit adjustment require case-by-case reconciliation; the displayed balance may not yet reflect the final outcome. Restrictions while a payment issue is investigated must be proportionate. Exercising a statutory right does not, by itself, create a penalty or require a new purchase. Restoring credits reserved for a generation that fails, is filtered, or produces no usable result is an internal service-accounting correction. It is not a monetary refund of the credit-pack purchase.

Buying credits, receiving them in your account, or accepting these Terms does not by itself waive a statutory cancellation or withdrawal right. Where applicable law requires a separate request for immediate performance, express consent, acknowledgment or contract confirmation before a right can be lost or a deduction made, those conditions must be met. Statutory rights remain available where the required conditions have not been met.

4. Accounts and Decks

Some features require an account authenticated by Clerk. You must provide accurate information, protect your account credentials, and notify hello@pixondeck.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You may stop using your account at any time.

Decks let you save references to skill cards. Availability and synchronization may depend on your account and browser. You should not rely on a Deck as your only record of important information.

5. Open Recipes and Third-Party Licenses

Skill cards may display, summarize, adapt, or link to third-party recipes and sample material. A license shown on a card applies only to the material it expressly covers. It may not cover sample images, trademarks, names and likenesses, material you provide, or your later use of an output.

The browser-based tools use third-party runtimes, models, and codecs identified on the relevant tool page or in the distributed notices. Those components remain subject to their respective licenses.

Rights remain with their respective owners. PixOnDeck does not grant third-party rights or guarantee that any third-party Skill is cleared for commercial use. We make reasonable efforts to identify authors and licenses accurately, but we do not guarantee that third-party information is complete or error-free.

Some Skills are marked as restricted or unverified. Before copying, applying, opening, or requesting use of one of those Skills, we may ask you to review the available source and license information and confirm that your intended use has the required permission or another lawful basis. Your confirmation records an informed choice; it does not expand a license, grant permission, bind a rightsholder, or excuse either you or PixOnDeck from obligations that apply by law. A restricted Skill does not become cleared for a paid hosted service merely because you confirm the notice.

To report an attribution, licensing, privacy, likeness, impersonation, non-consensual intimate-content, or other rights concern, email hello@pixondeck.com with your contact details, the work or right involved, the exact PixOnDeck URL or material at issue, the basis for your claim or authority to act, and a good-faith statement that the information is accurate. We may correct attribution, restrict access, disable, or remove material while reviewing a report.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Site to violate law or third-party rights; bypass authentication or security controls; interfere with the Site; scrape it at a disruptive scale; impersonate another person; or misuse waitlist, newsletter, or account forms.

We may restrict access or remove content when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Site, or comply with law.

7. Your Submissions

If you submit an email address, role, feedback, image, prompt, or other content through the Services, you confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide and process it. You grant PixOnDeck and the service providers identified in the Privacy Policy a limited permission to host, transmit, transform, and otherwise process the submission only to provide the requested account, generation, Waitlist, Newsletter, support, billing, security, or legal function.

A file selected for a tool expressly identified as browser-only is processed locally in your browser and is not submitted to PixOnDeck. You retain all rights you already hold in that file and the locally produced result. PixOnDeck does not claim ownership of either.

Before submitting material containing identifiable people for AI processing or editing, inform them of that use and obtain their separate permission. A confirmation in the interface is your acknowledgment of this responsibility; it does not grant another person’s rights or replace their actual consent. Do not create or submit non-consensual intimate content.

Do not submit government identifiers, medical or biometric records, other highly sensitive information, images of children, illegal content, or third-party images or material you do not have the right to process. PixOnDeck does not claim ownership of your generation submission. Generated output may not be unique or eligible for copyright protection. It may be affected by third-party rights and model-provider terms, and you are responsible for checking whether your intended use is permitted.

8. Our Intellectual Property

The Site design, PixOnDeck brand, software, original descriptions, testing documentation, and other original material are owned by us or our licensors. Except for rights expressly granted by a displayed open license, you may not copy or redistribute our proprietary material without permission.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site uses service providers for authentication, hosting, storage, AI generation, payment processing, email delivery, newsletters, and security. Third-party links and services are governed by their own terms. We do not control independently operated third-party services, including the BYOK endpoint you choose, and cannot guarantee their availability or content. This does not exclude responsibilities that apply to PixOnDeck for its own Services or its use of service providers.

10. Disclaimers

The Site, Free Image Tools, skill cards, recipes, sample images, hosted generation, generated outputs, and documentation are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every browser or device, or that a processed image will suit a particular purpose. Examples do not guarantee that a recipe will produce the same result in your own tools. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

If you use the Services as a business, to the extent permitted by law we exclude liability for lost profits, lost business opportunities and indirect or consequential loss. Our aggregate liability to business users for claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount paid to us for the Services in the preceding 12 months or US$50.

If you use the Services as a consumer, we remain responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not assume liability to consumers for business losses such as lost business profits or opportunities. The business-user monetary cap above does not apply to consumers.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or willful misconduct or gross negligence where liability cannot legally be limited. Nor does it exclude any other liability or consumer remedy that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit, including mandatory rights concerning the quality of services, refunds or price reductions.

12. Termination and Changes

You may stop using the Site at any time. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, fraud, abuse, security concerns or a legal obligation. Where practicable and lawful, we will explain the reason and how to contact us for review.

Features and model availability may change or be discontinued. Where reasonably practicable, we will give advance notice of a material reduction in paid Services. If we permanently discontinue the paid Services, unused paid credits will be addressed in accordance with applicable law and any binding commitments made at purchase; this is not a right to confiscate them without a lawful basis.

We may update these Terms for changes to the Services, security or legal requirements. Material changes will be notified as required by law. Updated terms will not retrospectively remove accrued mandatory rights or change completed purchases merely by being posted.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. You can contact us at hello@pixondeck.com to try to resolve a concern; this is not a prerequisite to exercising a statutory remedy. Unresolved disputes may be brought before the courts of Hong Kong SAR, subject to mandatory local law, including any right a consumer has to bring proceedings in their home jurisdiction.
